Now for This Brief Update...

Well, hello there. I've been terribly negligent, yet again. Let's get up to speed...

I'm still at the same job. No luck there yet. Still sending resumes wherever I can and hoping for the best. I had a phone interview scheduled last Thursday, but the lady never called when she was supposed to, so I'm hoping we can reschedule for next week. The car's doing well. I've been working it hard, going to and from San Antonio, and it hasn't given me any problems. I have a feeling an oil change is coming up soon, though. Frank and I are doing well. For the most part.

See, here's the deal... We decided he was going to move to Austin. So he got a job. He was staying with my cousin for a week while he interviewed for jobs. Turns out he got one in less than a week. Then it turns out my cousin backed out. So, he has a job and no place to stay. Once again, we're screwed. We're keeping our heads up, though, and trying to be patient for the solution to come. We're looking at apartments and will be contacting a locator this week. So, I'll be living with someone once again. The first time around wasn't too successful, but you can never base the present on past experience, so I'm hoping for the best. We get along just fine, so I'm sure it'll be good. Actually, I'm excited. We're gonna try putting together a little home of our own. It'll be nice to go home to a place that's ours, even if it's nothing fancy.

So, here's to the new apartment (once we find one we can afford) and hopefully a new job soon. I hope everyone's been well. Hopefully, I'll be posting good news within the week.
